I have three puzzles right now. I studied a happy KI and a Cobble Hill puzzle. Then I get a big puzzle in a trade and I just have to do it.
Introduction — Ravensburger Village Harbor from 2014. Something about Ravensburger’s classic puzzles is special. I love finding a riddle I never knew existed, which I’ve never seen before, and I’ve also realized it’s a rare riddle.
I’m enjoying every minute of this puzzle. It has a sense of Charles Wysocki about it – with shops, horses and trailers. This particular image is like a painting. He’s not sharp and more polished in the image texture. I’m not sure how to attack it once I see that because I have trouble when the crystals are unclear. You can see in my pictures what the puzzle looks like.
The first thing I did was I arranged words for each store. When I started classification, I realized that each building had its own color and had some samples for the carpet. I continued to make small piles and to assemble only separate parts.
I’m not done yet, but I want to send this blog and I’m sending a picture of the puzzle completed. I do a lot of puzzles. Sometimes they all look the same, and experience can lose some of its magic. In this case, I want to share. There’s something about this puzzle that’s magical. I want to go for a walk in the store and have ice cream. I’m lost in the details of the image and I’m taking time. Old Ravensburgers also felt different from me.
When you solve the riddle, keep looking for magic. Find pictures talking to you. There are a lot of puzzles out there, and it’s always been a great experience to find something that will surprise you.
